Privacy notice
This privacy notice describes how airpower-camping.com handles personal data. The operator is IE GP Event Camping Services, registered in Tbilisi, Georgia — outside the European Union and EEA.
Data controller
- Controller: IE GP Event Camping Services, Tbilisi, Georgia.
- Contact for data requests: privacy@gp-camping-guide.com
- For full publisher details see the Imprint.
What data we process
This is a primarily static editorial publication. We process:
- Server / hosting log files at the CDN level (Vercel) — IP address, requested URL, user agent, referrer, timestamp. Logs are kept for the period necessary for technical operation and abuse prevention.
- Form data: messages you send to editorial addresses are processed for the purpose of handling your request.
We do not run analytics, tracking pixels, advertising networks, or remarketing cookies. We do not sell personal data. Bookings are concluded directly with the respective recommended campsite operator on their own platform; their privacy policy applies to booking transactions.
Cookies
The site does not set persistent tracking cookies.
Reach measurement
We use PostHog to count page views and to see which language versions visitors use. The measurement is deliberately cookieless: no cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device (in-memory only, cleared when you close the tab). We do not build visitor profiles and do not track you across other websites.
Because no information is stored on or read from your device, no consent banner is required (Art. 5 (3) ePrivacy Directive and its national implementations). Where GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding which content is useful (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). PostHog acts as a processor on our behalf and processes the data on EU servers. You may object at any time using the contact details above.
Legal basis (where EU law applies)
Visitors based in the EU should be aware that — to the extent EU/EEA data-protection law is considered applicable (GDPR extraterritorial reach, Art. 3 GDPR) — we rely on:
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) for technical operation, security, and editorial publication.
- Contract / pre-contractual measures (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) when you contact us.
Your rights
Where applicable law grants data-subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection), you may exercise them by writing to privacy@gp-camping-guide.com.
Cross-border processing
Personal data may be processed outside the EU/EEA, including in Georgia (operator's seat) and in the country where the hosting CDN operates server nodes.
